Bar du Champagne is located in the heart of London and is designed to provide a welcoming and easy-going atmosphere for everyone to indulge in joyous moments.
By day, enjoy a welcoming and easy-going atmosphere to catch up with friends over coffee and light bites. As the light dims and night sets in, the space transforms into Covent Garden’s coolest hot spot with a well-rounded menu to appease all palates and preferences.
We offer an expertly crafted sharing-style menu for a modern diner looking for a rest bite in the tumult of the West End. Our menu combines an extensive selection of wines and champagnes, ranging from boutique wineries to renowned houses. Whether you are a connoisseur or an amateur, we cater to all souls seeking joyous moments.
The Wine
We source sustainable, delicious wines from both rising stars and acclaimed names. We look for wines with a sense of joy, place and character. Most of these wines are produced following organic or biodynamic principles. Many are certified. Many of our producers work with reduced or no added sulphites, but always in the service of purity and consistency. This short opening list is a show of things to come and highlights the gorgeous diversity of sparkling wine. From Champagne, there are grower and house Champagnes reflecting the diversity and excitement illuminating the region. For classic-method sparkling outside of Champagne, we are thrilled to have great examples from regional France and, of course, from Cava, Spain. We love good prosecco and offer a top producer from the Valdobbiadene heartland, as well as an example of the cloudy heritage style of ‘Col Fondo’. The natural side of fizz is represented by several Pet Nat and Méthode Ancestrale wines.
Please be aware that some of the grower Champagnes are extremely rare and available in limited quantities. In still wines, we look for discovery, deliciousness and true value with carefully sourced classics and some wonderful unusual suspects.
